Advance Placement (AP) Examinations

AP is an acceleration mechanism administered by the College Board providing for college level instruction in high school. Postsecondary credit for an AP course may be awarded to students who earn a minimum of a 3 on a 5-point scale on the corresponding AP exam.

Per M-DCPS policy any student enrolled in an AP Course, must sit for the accompanying AP Exam. AP exam test location will be determined using the student’s home address. Students who reside OUTSIDE of Miami-Dade County must travel to an MDCPS school.
